Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to ask

Clear, honest answers. If there's something here we haven't covered, just ask — we're happy to talk it through.

Yes, completely. What you talk about stays between the two of you. That certainty is exactly what makes it possible to speak freely and honestly — many people tell us it's the thing they value most.

No. Time to Talk Hub is a listening and supportive conversation service, not therapy, counselling or clinical treatment. We're here to listen and help you feel heard — not to diagnose, treat or give clinical advice. For some people it's all they need; for others it sits alongside other support.

Anyone who would value being properly listened to. Whether you're quietly burning out, feeling alone, facing a big decision, processing difficult news, or simply having a heavier day than usual — no thought is too small to bring.

We start gently, with a warm welcome and no forms to fill in. You talk about whatever's on your mind, at your own pace, and you're heard without judgement or interruption. We close in a way that leaves you feeling lighter, with a clearer next step.

Your first 15-minute call is free, with no commitment. After that it's £20 for 30 minutes or £40 for 60 minutes by phone, and £45 for a 60-minute in-person conversation in Devon.

Yes. As well as conversations by phone, we offer face-to-face sessions locally in Devon — a 60-minute conversation in a calm, welcoming space over a cup of tea or coffee.

Yes. We partner with organisations to offer confidential listening sessions for staff and a regular “someone to talk to” presence — a human complement to clinical provision or an EAP. Visit our For Organisations page to find out more.
